NCCF Opens Applications for Two Behavioral Health Grant Opportunities
The New Canaan Community Foundation is now accepting applications for two behavioral health grant opportunities, with proposals due by September 19 at 11:30 PM. Funding is available for systems-level initiatives in lower Fairfield County that strengthen behavioral health infrastructure, as well as New Canaan-based programs responding to the 2024 Community Health & Well-Being Survey.

9th Annual Community Addiction Awareness Vigil – August 27
Join New Canaan Parent Support Group (NCPSG) on August 27 at 6 South Avenue for an evening of live music and powerful recovery stories. New Canaan Community Foundation is proud to co-host this impactful event, the largest of its kind in Connecticut.

New Program Helps Locals Struggling with Auto Repair and Maintenance Costs
Caffeine and Carburetors uses funds raised from the New Canaan downtown event to start a new program to help locals struggling to pay for auto repairs and maintenance.

Grant Site Visits Underway
This year, 103 dedicated volunteers will visit 75 nonprofits to learn about their programming, meet their leadership, and evaluate the organization’s alignment with NCCF’s mission and values.

Scholarship Applications are OPEN. Deadline for Individual Applications is May 11, 2025 at 11:30pm. Block Grant Applications are due by April 11, 2025 at 11:30pm.
