Highlights from the New Canaan Volunteer Fair

The New Canaan Community Foundation, in partnership with the New Canaan Library, hosted the annual Nonprofit Volunteer Fair, bringing together 43 nonprofit organizations and around 480 attendees for an afternoon of community connection and civic engagement.

Attendees had the opportunity to meet nonprofit leaders, learn about local initiatives, and discover ways to get involved, through volunteering, board service, or advocacy.

Participating organizations ranged from education and youth services to arts and environmental nonprofits, including ABC New Canaan, Meals on Wheels of New Canaan, and Children in Placement – CT, Inc. See the full list of participating organizations here.

This annual event continues to showcase the vibrant spirit of our community, and the strong turnout highlights residents’ enthusiasm for making a difference.
