Every day, New Canaan Community Foundation responds to the needs of our neighbors. Today, we are proud to launch our 2026 Annual Appeal and invite the community to help us continue making a difference where it matters most.

Impact Made Possible With Your Support

Last year, the Foundation invested $3.3 million across New Canaan and surrounding communities. That support included $1.26 million awarded through the 2026 Annual Grant Cycle and $1.5 million mobilized through NCCF Donor Advised Funds.

Together, we increased grants in the areas where needs have grown most significantly:

• Funding for early childhood rose 58%

• Funding to address food insecurity rose 39%

This increased grantmaking gives our nonprofit partners the flexibility to adapt thoughtfully and respond where support is needed most.

None of this is possible without the collective strength of our donors, board, volunteers, committee members, and partners. This year’s appeal is led by Co-Chairs Colin Smith, Beth Stimpson, and Anne Wagner.
