New Canaan Community Foundation Is Hiring Part-Time Senior Accountant
The New Canaan Community Foundation (NCCF) is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its team in a part-time role reporting directly to the Vice President.
Position Highlights
Part-time position (20–25 hours/week)
Reports directly to the Vice President
Oversees accounting and financial operations
Manages accrual-based accounting and financial reporting
Supports audits, tax filings, and monthly/year-end close processes
Oversees grant approvals and disbursements
Maintains records in Microsoft Business Central
Manages 90+ philanthropic component funds
Requires expertise in investment, endowment, and fund accounting
Since 1977, NCCF has supported the New Canaan and lower Fairfield County communities through strategic philanthropy, grantmaking, and nonprofit partnerships. The Foundation manages approximately $30 million in assets and awards nearly $2 million annually in grants and scholarships.
