This year’s spring philanthropy luncheon will highlight NCCF’s
Touch A Life Fund
which provides confidential emergency financial assistance to New Canaan residents who need help making ends meet.

Stephanie Land, the author of both Maid: Hard Work, Low Pay, and a Mother's Will to Survive and Class: A Memoir of Motherhood, Hunger and Higher Education. Stephanie's debut memoir, Maid, recounts her harrowing saga as a single mom navigating poverty and was adapted into an Emmy-nominated miniseries on Netflix.


May is Mental Health Awareness Month

The New Canaan Health Department presents :

Building Resilience and Healthy Coping Skills

As part of Mental Health Awareness Month the New Canaan Health Department is holding an event where parents will hear from experts on children, the internet and anxiety. The panelists will be Kimberly Morgan, APRN and Devon Suozzi, LCSW from the Mindwell Center. Please register by April 30.

New Canaan Community Foundation Annual Meeting & Cocktail Party

Join us for the New Canaan Community Foundation Annual Meeting & Cocktail Party. This event will be held at Waveny House on January 31, 2024. The reception will begin at 6pm with hors d'oeuvres and refreshments. At 7pm, we will discuss the State of the Foundation as well as hear remarks by Chris Falsetta, founder of the Gracie Fund for Pediatric Cancer, a charitable fund housed at NCCF and Rachel Takacs, Director of Navigation at Waveny Lifecare Network, on the new Alzheimer’s at Home program partnership with NCCF.
