Meet Our New Board Members: Peter Campbell, John J. Clarke Jr., & Jennifer Ray
The New Canaan Community Foundation is delighted to welcome three new members to our Board of Directors. Each brings a unique blend of professional expertise and deep personal ties to New Canaan, and together they add real depth to our mission of strengthening our community for generations to come.
Peter Campbell
Peter is the founder and Managing General Partner of Education Growth Partners, a Stamford-based private equity firm focused entirely on investing in innovative education and human development companies. A longtime Connecticut resident, Peter moved to New Canaan in 2006 with his wife, where their children attended New Canaan Public Schools. He brings years of board and philanthropic leadership experience to NCCF, including 13 years on the Board of Directors for Echoing Green, an organization that has provided seed funding to over 750 social entrepreneurs.
John J. Clarke, Jr.
John is a lawyer with DLA Piper LLP (US) in New York City. He and his wife moved to New Canaan in 2012, and their commitment to the town runs deep. A longtime NCCF supporter, John has volunteered as a grant reviewer for the Foundation and has also given his time to the New Canaan Land Trust, the New Canaan Library, and the New Canaan YMCA.
Jennifer Ray
Jennifer is a Partner and Head of Wealth Strategies and Strategic Partnerships at BBR Partners. She and her husband moved to New Canaan in 2015 and are raising their three sons in the New Canaan Public Schools. A longtime NCCF volunteer, Jennifer chaired the 2024 Annual Appeal and co-founded the Foundation's inaugural Fall Fête, and she continues to be an active presence on our Development and event committees.
