YPF Meeting Outline

The Young Philanthropists Fund Steering Committee meets once a month between September and May. The ninety minute interactive meetings cover topics such as how non profit organizations fit into our communities and serve our resident, budgets, fundraising, finances, investments, evaluating a non profit for funding and evaluating grant proposals. Several meeting are spent reviewing and discussing grant requests for funds. Additionally as the YPF Steering Committee has the privilege of recommending grant awards, the Steering Committee is expected to develop a "fundraiser" to add additional funds to the Young Philanthropist Fund.

The meetings are designed to lay the foundation needed for the Steering Committee to carefully evaluate the grant proposals presented for funding from the YPF.
