Registration for: Touch A Life Luncheon
Date: February 9, 2010
The 4th Annual Touch A Life Lincheon will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at the Roger Sherman Inn in New Canaan at 12 noon. Our guest speaker will be Elaine Zimmerman, Executive Director of the Connecticut Commission on Children.
The Touch A Life Fund was established by the former United Way of New Canaan in 1998 to provide emergency assistance to those in need in New Canaan. To date, over $80,000 has been used to assist people and families in New Canaan with fuel, medical and rent bills, camperships, clothing, school supplies and other necessary items.
Contributions received at the Luncheon are the main source of funding for the Touch A Life Fund. Last year over $16,000 was added to the Fund from the Luncheon.
